The Challenge

Mix & Twist are a premium mobile bar hire service for corporate events and private parties, specialising in large scale events across the UK. Their full-service offering includes event planning, flair bartending and mixologist hire to create extraordinary drinking experiences that bring people together.


The cocktail connoisseurs have delivered thousands of successful events for event agencies and leading brands for over a decade, with clients including the likes of Haribo, Adidas and Amazon.


Ascensor wanted to capitalise on their prior success in the events industry and firmly establish themselves as the undisputed leaders of luxury mobile bar hire in the UK. Our experts got to work with a comprehensive SEO strategy that would see the business dominate local search results and capture a consistent stream of relevant leads, introducing a whole new audience to the magic of a Mix & Twist event.

Our SEO experts joined forces with Mix & Twist’s marketing team to identify the key areas of the business to promote through ranking increase. 

We carried out comprehensive keyword research, with key terms chosen based on the estimated number of users searching for mobile bar hire and associated services in key locations, including financial centers such as Leeds and London.


This allowed us to create a powerful long-term strategy that would attract quality traffic, provide a content optimisation roadmap, and give Mix & Twist a competitive edge on other prominent mobile bar businesses. 


Our in-house copywriters got to work creating new service pages based on location, crafting engaging content that highlighted Mix & Twist’s fun and bespoke approach to events and drove users to request a quote or learn more about specific services. 

We also overhauled existing content, optimising pages for their corresponding keywords and ensuring they fulfilled user search intent for a great user experience that would nurture brand loyalty and drive visitors to convert. 


Technical fixes and refinements optimised the site for crawlability, allowing Google to crawl the re-optimised content effectively. By improving on-page SEO throughout the site, we worked to enhance user experience and keep site visitors engaged, as well as appealing to Google’s search algorithms. 


Weekly and monthly reporting ensures Mix & Twist are kept up to date with the latest improvements in organic ranking performance, with tracking set up to monitor leads, click through rates and conversions as a result of new content going live regularly.

Mix & Twist have so far secured four  #1 positions, 25 top five positions and 37 top 10 positions across our target keywords as a result of our SEO efforts.

Each target location is now ranking #15 or above, with many keywords breaking into the top five SERP positions. Many of these locations, including London, Leeds and Newcastle, are in the top 10, a fantastic ranking increase. 

Organic traffic is up 13.3% since the beginning of strategy implementation, boosting brand awareness and increasing Mix & Twist’s conversion rate by supplying a consistent stream of quality leads.
