Yorkshire Laser and Fabrication is a West Yorkshire-based sheet metal fabrication specialist with over 25 years of experience.

After almost a decade with the same website, Yorkshire Laser’s online presence no longer reflected the quality or scale of its precision engineering services.

The company needed a new digital home that matched its industry reputation - fast, professional and easy to navigate.

The goal was to create a user-friendly site that made it simple for visitors to find information about products and services, while allowing Yorkshire Laser’s in-house team to easily manage and update content.

How do you modernise a 10-year-old site without losing the technical depth that clients rely on? That was the challenge we set out to solve.

UX design and planning

Working in collaboration with the Yorkshire Laser team, we began by mapping out the new site structure and identifying the key templates needed to support future growth.

• Conducted an SEO review of the existing site and built a new sitemap based on user behaviour and performance data.
• Designed all pages in Figma, creating clean, intuitive layouts focused on clarity and accessibility.

Webflow development

Once the designs were signed off, our design and development teams brought them to life in Webflow.

• Built the site using Webflow CMS collections for services, sectors, case studies and news, enabling the Yorkshire Laser team to manage updates independently.
• Implemented a fast, fully responsive layout with accessibility features to improve usability across devices.
• Added video content throughout the site to highlight the company’s manufacturing scale and showcase its advanced laser-cutting capabilities.
• Ensured all content was optimised for speed, SEO and clear user journeys.

Content collaboration

We worked with an external copywriter to ensure the messaging aligned with Yorkshire Laser’s brand voice and industry expertise.

Testing and launch

After thorough QA and user acceptance testing, the site went live following DNS updates managed by the client’s IT team.
