Fifteen thousand reasons to celebrate our journey

Ascensor have reached another major milestone, and as well as celebrating, we’re aiming to make a real difference over the next 12 months.

To mark our 15th birthday we’ve launched a campaign to raise £15,000 to help the work of five incredible charities.

With a series of events planned throughout the year, we'll be raising money for:

Alzheimer's Society

⭐ Macmillan Cancer Support

⭐ Yorkshire Air Ambulance

⭐ Stroke Association

Simon on the Streets

Ascensor have been building and marketing websites since 2007 and have worked with businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to multi-million turnover global organisations, and everything in between.

Our journey began in Batley Business Park on 16th November 2007, with a team of just three web experts.

Now we're at the heart of Leeds' digital transformation, evolving to become integrated digital marketing specialists based close to the mighty Elland Road, with a dedicated team of more than 35 digital specialists.

We’re all about results, but at every stage of the journey it’s also been incredibly important to give back.

We're all about having a positive impact

Ascensor are constantly striving to make a positive impact, and founder Andy Firth said: “Supporting our community and charities that are close to our team's hearts has always been a focus of Ascensor. We’ve got to 15 years thanks to our hard work, team and customer focus and this initiative is all about raising money and giving back, whilst having fun in the process.”

Whether it’s fundraising or providing pro bono and subsidised services, we actively encourage our team to support causes that are close to their hearts.

Let's celebrate together

Whether it’s fundraising or providing pro bono and subsidised services, we actively encourage our team to support causes that are close to their hearts.

The money we raise over the next year will be split equally between the five charities, each of which holds personal significance to members of the Ascensor team.

The Alzheimer's Society funds research into the cause, cure, care and prevention of dementia; Macmillan Cancer Support offers emotional, practical, physical and financial support for people living with cancer; Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a life-saving emergency service to five million people across the county; the Stroke Association works to prevent stroke and campaigns for the rights of stroke survivors and Simon on the Streets is an independent Leeds charity helping the homeless and vulnerable.

As well as office-based fundraising activities there’ll be plenty of opportunities for clients, suppliers, fellow marketing professionals and other backers to get involved in 2023.

We’ve planned a calendar of sponsored physical challenges and sporting and social events to help us reach our ambitious target, and details of upcoming fundraisers will be regularly released throughout the year.

We’ve created a GoFundMe page as a central fundraising platform - let's celebrate our 15-year journey together by raising as much cash as possible!

If you're a local charity looking for corporate support, whether for a particular fundraising event or on a partnership basis, we're always here to help. If you think we'd be a good fit, why not get in touch?
