Alicia Kite is a premium shapewear brand built on confidence, comfort and style.
Founded by a seasoned image consultant passionate about helping women feel confident in their own bodies and drawing on decades of experience styling real women, the brand delivers patented “Second Skin” shapewear designed to enhance natural curves and restore everyday confidence.
The website was running on an outdated Shopify theme that was underperforming. It was being outclassed by competitors and no longer represented the premium identity of the brand.
The site also lacked the flexibility to showcase products effectively, provide education before purchase or build trust with new customers.
Ascensor’s design team migrated the Alicia Kite store to the Shopify Horizon theme, introducing a contemporary design that improved performance and delivered a mobile-friendly experience.
To elevate the brand’s premium positioning, we refined the styling with updated layouts, typography and a consistent visual language across all pages.
Custom content was a key focus.
We added a UGC video block to showcase products in real life and built a ‘How it works’ call to action on every product page, so customers could see how to put on the garments before purchasing.
Trust signals were strengthened throughout the site, with reviews highlighted across key pages and an “As seen on” section linking to media coverage and external product listings.
Internal pages such as the About and FAQs were restyled to align with the new design, ensuring a cohesive user journey.
We also introduced a product page size guide pop-up so shoppers could make confident choices without leaving the page.
Our designers then upgraded Alicia Kite’s email strategy by introducing a much stronger welcome series, with tailored offers and brand storytelling, abandoned basket reminders to recover lost sales, follow-ups, newsletter prompts and a ‘recommend a friend’ offer to boost engagement.
The new site is modern, trustworthy and user-friendly. Customers can browse with confidence, see real products in action and benefit from a smoother buying journey. Combined with enhanced email automations, Alicia Kite now has the tools to build stronger customer relationships and drive sales growth and conversions.
